Inside the Mind of a Survivor

This compelling workshop will ignite the conversation surrounding sexual assault and dating violence among professionals dealing with military sexual trauma. Specifically this workshop is focused on understanding the impact of sexual violence and teaches how to properly respond when someone discloses. According to the American Journal of Community Psychology, the reaction of the first person whom a survivor talks to about a sexual assault will have a dramatic impact on the healing process.

The workshop gives insight into the neurobiology of trauma and what happens in the brain when survivors experience sexual violence.

Sarah Rice

Flip Rodriguez

Flip is one of American Ninja Warrior’s Elite athletes. He is known for his lightning speed and the iconic mask he wore during competition.
