When you call , you’ll be routed to a local RAINN affiliate organization based on the first six digits of your phone number. Cell phone callers have the option to enter the ZIP code of their current location to more accurately locate the nearest sexual assault service provider.

National Domestic Violence Hotline

The National Domestic Violence Hotline provides lifesaving tools and immediate support to empower victims and survivors to find safety and live free of abuse. We also provide support to friends and family members who are concerned about a loved one.

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning youth. The Trevor Project is always here for you, nationwide, 24/7, 365 days a year! 

Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support service run by trans people, for trans and questioning callers. Our operators are located all over the U.S. and Canada, and are all trans-identified. If you are in crisis or just need someone to talk to, even if it’s just about whether or not you’re trans, please call us. We will do our best to support you and provide you resources.

LGBT National Help Center

Serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities by providing free & confidential peer-support and local resources. Services provided are always free & confidential. We are the only LGBT organization that offers national support, resources, and information directly. All calls and online services are provided by highly trained LGBTQ volunteers. Calls are never out sourced or answered by other affiliated organizations.

National Eating Disorder Association

The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

This helpline offers support Monday–Thursday from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. EST, and Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. EST. You can expect to receive support, information, referrals, and guidance about treatment options for either you or your loved one. You can also contact this helpline through its online chat function, available on its website. Additionally, there is an option to send a text message if you are in crisis by texting NEDA to 741741; a trained volunteer from the Crisis Text Line will get in touch with you.

Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration National Helpline

SAMHSA provides a free, confidential 24-hour information and treatment referral hotline for people and families affected by mental health disorders and behavioral addictions. Their services are provided in English and Spanish. It provides information, community resources, support group information, and treatment referrals. It also sends out free publications on mental and behavioral health issues to those who request them.

National Alliance on Mental Illness

The NAMI HelpLine is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health conditions, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public. HelpLine staff and volunteers are experienced, well-trained and able to provide guidance.

The NAMI HelpLine can be reached Monday through Friday, 10 am–6 pm, ET.
